Sustainability is important to us - and not just because environmental awareness is trendy. It was clear to us from the start that MRSSCHMITZ Beauty products have to be sustainable. For the sake of the environment and ultimately for the sake of all of us.
We design all processes - from production to shipping - to be as sustainable as possible. Skin care with a clear conscience is therefore possible.
MADE IN GERMANY - WHERE ELSE?
We didn't have to think about the production site: ours MRSSCHMITZ Beauty products are produced in Germany. Long delivery routes are not acceptable to us. After all, the longer the delivery route, the higher the emissions.
CLIMATE-NEUTRAL MANUFACTURE THANKS TO RENEWABLE ENERGIES
Regenerative, i.e. renewable, energies are used to manufacture our products. What are "renewable energies" actually? This includes all energy sources that do not use finite resources (such as oil, gas or coal). Instead, regenerative energy sources are used that are inexhaustible, such as solar and wind energy, hydroelectric power, geothermal energy or bioenergy (energy generation from plants or plant residues).
PACKAGING IS RECYCLABLE
Sheet masks are plentiful, but few have recyclable packaging. Ours are one of them.
MRSSCHMITZ Beauty uses a PP monocomposite called ReCyCo1® for the mask sachets. The foil consists of a single type of plastic. This makes it much easier and easier to recycle than, for example, a multi-material composite made of PET, aluminum and PE, which is otherwise often used for cosmetic sachets.
COMPOST COMPATIBLE: BIODEGRADABLE SHEET MASKS
The cloth material we use for our masks is made from different substrates. All are of natural origin and 100% biodegradable. So you can throw the fleece on the compost or in the brown bin after use. On top: Our outer packaging is recyclable.
SKIN IRRITATION? NO THANK YOU!
You can certainly do without skin-irritating substances in your care products. We also! Our sheet masks are soaked in a pH-neutral serum that does not contain any additives that are harmful to the skin. It is free from dyes, parabens and silicones. And you won't find monovalent (drying) alcohols either, instead lots of natural ingredients.
By the way: Renowned institutes (cosm.art, BAV Institute) confirm the skin compatibility of the serum and its excellent microbiological properties.
VEGAN, CRUELTY-FREE AND WITHOUT MICROPLASTICS
We have made sure that all active ingredients and raw materials are vegan. We appreciate the effect of collagen, but animal proteins in our products are a no-go for us. So a vegan alternative was needed. We found this in HerbaGlow® NRG. The active ingredient stimulates the energy supply of the skin cells and thus gets tired skin going. The result is a great glow.
HerbaGlow® NRG is a COSMOS-tested active ingredient complex that consists of 100% natural ingredients. In short: an effective collagen alternative - vegan and well tolerated.
A matter of course for us: All our products are not tested on animals, and of course you will not find any microplastics in them.
CARTONS MADE OF WASTE PAPER AND LOCAL GRASS
MRSSCHMITZ Beauty sees sustainability as an overall concept. Therefore, our environmental awareness does not end with packaging and shipping. We send orders via frauschmitz-beauty.de in a box from Biobiene®. The company was awarded the sustainability prize of the German Brand Award.
No trees have to be felled for the production of Biobiene® cardboard boxes and boxes, as the plastic-free and sustainable shipping material consists of 35% domestic grass and 65% waste paper. In this way we contribute to the careful use of the forest resource. And: We use climate-neutral shipping from GoGreen, a service offered by DHL.
